I am a camera assistant and trainee, based in Glasgow. I love exploring film technology and the experiences it can create. Over the past five years, I have worked in the camera department on numerous drama and documentary productions. I am familiar with Arri (Alexa and Amira), Red, Blackmagic and Sony cameras and a wide range of FIZ, monitoring, grip and lighting tools. I also have training with the Arri SR2 16mm system and a knowledge of hybrid film-digital workflows. I can provide data wrangling and dailies services and am proficient in DaVinci Resolve and ShotPut Pro. I have strong IT skills and a Scottish Higher engineering qualification.

As a camera assistant, notable projects include the award winning shorts Mark at the Supermarket and Lupa as well as the amateur feature Skinjacker. As a DoP, I have shot a number of short films, including Emma Malins’ Wee Wild Flowers and Amy Urquhart’s Faith in Family. I also have experience as a runner on live shows with Turtle Canyon Comedy and Mentorn Media.

I have a clean driving license and can arrange accommodation in Edinburgh and London. I’m a cat person, a trumpet player, and a rare tech nerd who also enjoys spending time in nature.
